The ancestral line is a truly fascinating subject. It makes us wonder, what were our ancestors like? What did they go through? What were their lives like? What stories could they tell us?

We tend to paint that magical picture of times long ago, and ponder over how different it would have been from our world today. We wonder if our ancestors are truly gone, or if remnants of their lives can be found within us. And then we wonder, how much influence our ancestors could possibly have in our lives today.

The answer is: Quite a lot, actually. Just like us, our ancestors went through life learning lessons, having breakthroughs, challenges, hopes, and dreams. And just like us, they had their fair share of trauma, and trying times. The remnants of their experiences were passed down through the generations until they came to settle within us. Which means that in a way, our ancestors, their lessons and teachings, live on in us, and will be passed down to the next generation.

What we don’t’ realize is the magnitude of influence ancestral trauma can have on us. In fact, it can be so prominent that it has the potential to greatly sabotage your life, love, and business endeavors. Therefore, it is so important to release ancestral trauma whenever we become aware of it.

But, our ancestors did not only leave us their burdens, they also left us their talents, gifts, and strengths, and tapping into those and activating them can greatly enrich our lives.
